Call for Posters

FMI2013 will have a poster session for graduate students and postdocs. Poster presentations either in any area of Mathematics (not necessarily directly related to the Forum) or on themes related to the Forum are invited. The poster submission must follow the instructions below.

1. On the poster, the contact information (name, affiliation, phone number, and e-mail address) should appear.
2. Poster should be submitted as a PDF file. Please do not forget to embed the necessary fonts. The PDF file must be sent to the address: coe(at)math.kyushu-u.ac.jp by e-mail until Friday, August 30, 2013.
3. Poster will be printed on an A0 size paper (841mm x 1189mm) in portrait orientation. Please do not prepare the poster in the landscape orientation.


IMPORTANT DATES:
  • Submission Deadline: August 30, 2013

  • Notification to authors: September 10, 2013

  • Final Version: September 17, 2013

  • Workshop Date: November 4-8, 2013

 The authors of the accepted posters should be available for discussion during the poster session, and additionally they are required to give a short presentation on their posters at the conference room, 2 minutes (one slide) for each. The accepted posters will be contained in the volume of Extended Abstract of FMI2013 (as one of the MI Lecture Notes, a collection of extended abstracts of talks will be distributed at the Forum).

Excellent poser presentations will be awarded prizes with some supplementary prize.
